Project managers have been doing the heavy lifting for years. They often face criticism and skepticism from their team, but this is a mistake as it’s not only essential to plan; you also need some fun activities where everyone on board can collaborate towards one goal! To ensure your project stays successful, utilize milestones created in collaboration with those who work closest at hand – like brainstorming tasks or sticky notes representing critical objectives within each phase/milestone heading (e-g: Establish baseline behaviors). All these will ensure no missed deadlines because someone didn’t do his part correctly by accidentally forgetting an item during planning time. 

You need to set up controls for keeping the project on time.

You will need a set of control documents to keep track and communicate progress along the way. As a starting point, you can use a project charter or definition document, risk list with issues per priority level identified by stakeholders, from top priority down to medium-priority items deemed less. It should be ordered so that lower-level risks eventually follow the ones needing attention.  It is another measure to enable you to keep your project meet expectations.
